Frozen Creek

Saturday we went over to the park to take pictures of all the snow. As we walked to this bridge I looked back and realized that we had already walked over the creek.

We had a swell Christmas. Santa brought gifts and snow this year.

And the Mess.

The Other Christmas Picture.

One of the two Christmas pictures we sent out with our notes to family and friends.

We finally got our tree decorated. It's got about 200 lights and 200 candy canes on it. The candy canes might not make it till Christmas.

October 31st

Here are some more pics of us for Halloween.
Ya, the mustache is real.

At City Hall (my job) we celebrate Halloween by dressing up all crazy like and eating tons of sweets. Jen came to visit and get candy.

Peace, Love, and Halloween

We didn't really want to spend much, so this year we are dressing up as ourselves.
Here I am giving my pumpkin rabbit ears.

Jen carved a cool skull out of the dirt on her pumpkin.
Happy Halloween. Peace.

Jen's Pretty Hair

Every once and a while Jen will rope me into doing her hair. This time I did it in lots of little rope braids.

Photo Shop Skills

Chicks dig guys with skills. Nun-chuck skills. Computer hacking skills. Photo Shop skills. Computer hacking and nun-chuck skills yet to come.

Here are two of my favorite girls (Jen and Boo). The photo itself was sort of crummy, but I loved Jen's smile and Boo's pose. This photo was tweaked up just a little. Now it's the Background for my work computer.

Jen The Sitter of Babies

Jen no longer works as a teachers aid. She has moved on. Now she is Sitting (not sitting around but babysitting). Here are some pictures of her adventures.

Hawk's Fountain

One crazy Saturday morning I road my bike five miles to the my friends house and help put together this fountain. The stone came from an ugly path way, and the rest was purchased. It was hard work but not very expensive.

Here it is mostly finished, but not all finished.

Here it is with plants, Still mostly finished.

Now It's Finished.

Gold Springs

We went camping just past Cascade. Other than the rain, it was a load of fun.
And really beautiful.

This is a view from our camping site. The great Gold Fork River.

And here is another view.

This is a view of Don cooking eggs for breakfast.

Here is a good lesson to remember. If a bear invites himself over for breakfast, feed him.
On the way back I got a great shot of the clouds in the mountains.

Ghost of babysitting

Jen was asked to do some last minute babysitting for friends of our so I thought it would be a great opportunity to test out the different features on my camera. As you can tell sometimes children can be very entertaining.

This one we call tornado.

When kids have too much sugar things get blurry

This kid can become invisible.

He spins that chair so, so fast.

Coke and Mentos

On this camping trip we learned how to make a really big mess.

Take 1

Don't try this at home. Make sure you are camping or at least at somebody else's house. It can make a really big mess.

Well if you can't learn from others' mistakes, then you deserve what's coming.

And for the grand finale.

Here is Boo making fun of her Uncles.

Bruneau Sand Dunes

The day we decided to go to Bruneau there were thunder storms everywhere. Everywhere except the sand dunes.

We thought that it would be neat to slide down the dunes. It looks like it could work but it didn't.

Don't get lost.

Here Jen was showing off her acrobatic skills. Way Neat!

Hell's Canyon Days

Our trip to Cambridge Idaho

Hells Canyon.
The road to Hells Canyon is full of sharp curves and hills. I almost hurled in the back seat on the ride up. I think that is how it got it's name.

Rush Creek.
Not too far from Cambridge.

Beautiful sunset.
And a barn.

Crazy Cowboys.
This one decided to do a hand stand while riding a bull. He didn't last too long.
