First stop (and first trip), Denver. Jennifer met up with the family, who had already been there a few days, at this very nice hotel....

*Denver is known as "mile high city", this is why. (one mile above sea level)Tuesday thru Thursday they stayed in Colorado Springs.

The adults had tea at this old and gorgeous hotel, while Jen and the kids played around. Everyone later got together and had dinner here too.
Before leaving Colorado City to head back to Denver, the kids and Jen visited "Whits End". Jen used to listen to "Adventures in Odessy" story time on the radio all the time, it was fun going to this "Focus on the family" activity place.
There were mostly pictures of the kids, which we don't want to post on here, but it was a great imaginitive place with a lot of different activities.

Jen and the family went to several other museums and activity places while in Colorado. Jen enjoyed time off, so she could walk or take the free bus down 16th street mall and hang out in the executive lounge (where there was food, drinks, comfy chairs, friendly people, etc.- which didn't cost any extra than what the family already paid to have those services).
Jen got to get together with some family in the Denver area. Jen's mom's aunt Pam, her husband Richard with two of their children and their spouses. The black head in front is a dog. :-)
